The Nama Jalu team acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the many lands and waters on which we work.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present whose knowledge and wisdom inspires and guides our work.

Nama Jalu is based on Gadigal land – land that nurtures our team and our ties with community. This is, was, and always will be Aboriginal land.

About us

About us

Founded in 2022, Nama Jalu Consulting is a majority Aboriginal owned and led Social Enterprise Consulting Company

We have a depth of experience in Aboriginal led co-design, capacity building, evidence building and trauma-informed practice. We work with Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, non-government organisations and government agencies who are working to achieve sustainable and real change for Aboriginal people and communities. We believe this change can only happen by Aboriginal people leading the way and working from the heart to achieve self-determination.

We are a Small Industry Member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT (SECNA), an accredited start-up business with Social Traders and a NSW Assured Business registered with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce. The majority of our profits are invested back in the Aboriginal communities we work with.
